Sarah Palin: The Defining Leadership

Camp Buehring, Kuwait - Alaska Governor Sarah ...Image via WikipediaWikipedia defines leadership as "the process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task."Entrepreneur .com has an article on 5 Key Traits of Great Leader. According to the article they are:

  • 1 You must have vision
  • 2 You must have passion
  • 3 You must learn to be a great decision maker
  • 4 You must be a team builder
  • 5 You must have character
Sarah Palin has all these traits and more. She has a vision of restoring this country to the greatness that is was established on, and rebuilding the security and values that have made us the leader of the free world. She has the ability to take just a few word to make simple what most people seem to want to make complicated. For example when the healthcare bill was being debated she pointed out that she did not want her son with downs syndrome to face "Obama's death panels." With just a few words she changed the debate and forced the Democrats to remove the panel that decides on end of life care from the bill. Again after the bill was passed and the administration tried to put the panels back in with regulations, the debate was so hot and heavy that they had to remove it again. That is a lot of power with just a few words and shows a great ability to change the direction of both the argument and the country itself.
She has a passion and love of life, love of God, of country and of family. She excites those who follow her and when people are around her they light up with the energy that she exudes. She inspires those who follow her greater heights than they had dreamed of before they met her. Even those that hate her seem to hate her with a greater passion than they do with anyone else.
She knows how to make great decisions, even if those decisions are not always what most people would expect. When she decided to step down as Governor of Alaska, she was ridiculed and told that her career as a politician was over. And yet here she is with more power in a "tweet" that most people have as leaders of countries.
She is an excellent team builder and has a great deal of loyalty from those who follow her. She knows how to handle responsibility and has a great team that she can and does delegate very effectively.
And no one can deny that she has character, she lives her values and shows it in everything that she does. She knows who she is and she knows her limitations. She is willing to listen and is not so arrogant that she is not able to take input and critique from others.

For all the people who are trying to say that Sarah Palin is not very smart, this post from the Sarah Palin Information Blog should give you a very different view. And if you are honest and have an open mind you might learn something. And for all those Democrats who are discovering that Mr. Obama is not what they thought he was, or that he is much worse, let me leave you with this quote from  Elaine Lafferty "But like many other Democrats, including Lynn Rothschild, I'm tired of the Democratic Party taking women for granted. I also happen to believe Sarah Palin supports women't rights, deeply and passionately."
